Getting started

The first two weeks.

How long does migration take?

Most cash-pay clinics are live in 7 to 14 days. We pull from your current tool, seed your sandbox, run a parallel week, then cut over.

Do I need to train my front desk?

A free training session is included on Starter and Growth. Most front desk staff are productive in under a day. The workflows mirror what they already know.

Can I trial it before I commit?

30-day free trial. Real patient bookings allowed. No card on file required.

Do I get my data out if I leave?

Yes. CSV and JSON export of every record. No lock-in clause.

Charting and clinical

Voice notes, sign-off, and templates.

Is voice-to-SOAP HIPAA-aware?

Yes, when paired with a BAA. Voice-to-SOAP runs through OpenAI Whisper under the OpenAI BAA process. Voice notes are processed in the US-only API. Transcripts are encrypted at rest.

Can I bring my own SOAP templates?

Yes. Templates for chiro, medspa, dental, and wellness ship in the box. Edit any of them or build new ones.

What about e-signatures and force-edits?

Sign-off is one tap. Editing a signed note triggers a force-edit warning and an audit log entry. Every change is recoverable.

Can I copy forward from the last visit?

Yes. One tap pulls in the previous visit's Subjective and Objective fields, greyed out so you can see what was inherited versus new.

Payments and financing

Payments, care plans, and patient financing.

How does patient financing work?

Patient financing is offered through lending partners. Estimated payment options are shown at checkout, subject to lender review. The clinic gets paid upfront when financing is approved and funded. The lender pays Nemira a referral fee. Nemira is not a lender.

What payment methods are supported?

Cash, card, terminal via WisePOS E, card-on-file, patient financing through lending partners, and HSA/FSA cards via Stripe.

How does Stripe Connect work for us?

Destination charges. The clinic is the merchant of record. Nemira takes a platform fee. Refunds and chargebacks flow to the clinic, so you stay in control of disputes.

Do I need a separate merchant account?

No. Nemira onboards you onto Stripe Connect during setup. Funds settle to your bank in two business days.

SMS and broadcast

Reminders, replies, and 10DLC.

Do you handle A2P 10DLC?

We walk you through registration during setup. Twilio runs the actual registration. Most clinics are approved in 3 to 7 days.

Can patients reply to reminder texts?

Yes. Two-way thread. Patient replies route into the patient's thread in the clinic dashboard.

What about STOP and HELP keywords?

Twilio Advanced Opt-Out handles them automatically at the messaging-service level.

What's a broadcast campaign?

Targeted SMS to a segment of your patients. Segment by booking history, treatment completed, or inactivity. Schedule or send now.

Compliance and security

HIPAA, BAAs, and access control.

Is Nemira HIPAA-eligible?

Nemira runs on HIPAA-eligible infrastructure with HIPAA-aware workflows. BAA status is shown by vendor. Audit logs on every clinical action. SOC 2 in progress.

Where is patient data stored?

US-only Supabase Postgres and US-only Vercel edge. No data leaves US borders unless you opt in to a non-US sub-processor.

What happens if my account is compromised?

Every login is logged. Sessions are revocable from the admin console. 2FA is supported today, SSO ships Q4.

Can I get a BAA?

Yes, on Growth and Enterprise tiers. Email contact@nemira.app to request.
